Our Agency has a rigorous recruitment procedure. Our Care workers are fully vetted; having 2 references whom we make phone calls to verify and an enhanced CRB disclosure. All staff has a 7-day induction and periodic training throughout the year. We recruit professional and experienced staff and also those who have not worked in the care industry but are willing to be trained. Our care workers are shadowed and supervised during their first assignments. It is our policy that intense supervision of every new staff during their first assignment runs until they are in a position to deliver the utmost care to our clients as per our standards. Timekeeping is also an aspect that is taken seriously and is embedded in our training manual. Carers need to understand that our service users need timely care if they are to recover from ill health and have an enhanced quality of life.
